Afterschool Program

MI-EL Christian School Afterschool Program provides academic and sports activities for our students after the regular school schedule in order to support their integral development.

Objective

The Homework Club is a space designed for students to complete their school homework and assignments with the help and supervision of prepared teachers. This program can be combined with the Reinforcement Program or the Intervention Program.

Schedule

The Homework Club works Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. up to 5 p.m.

Objective

The reinforcement program consists in the accompaniment of the student by a teacher, treating the themes and subjects that are being taught in the regular class. The objective is to reinforce the teaching that the student is receiving in the mornings in order to support the learning process.

The Reinforcement Program works Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. up to 5 p.m.

Objective

The intervention program is the space where students receive personalized classes in order to level the student’s skills in English or Spanish to their grade level.

Schedule

The Intervention Program works Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:00 p.m. up to 5 p.m.

Objective

This program is configured to address the special academic needs of the student in a specific area. Also, it prepares students for tests and presentations.

Schedule

The Tutoring Program works Mondays through Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. up to 5 p.m.
